Appeal following incident of outraging public decency

Officers are appealing for information or witnesses following an incident of outraging public decency in Norwich.

The incident was reported to have happened on Sunday (23 August 2026) at approximately 3.30pm, in which a man was sat at a bus stop on Castle Meadow, carried out an indecent act and exposed himself.

The man is described as being white, aged in his early 70s, with grey hair, unshaven, wearing grey worn leather jacket, dark (possibly navy) jogging bottoms and a dark t-shirt.

Enquiries are ongoing, and officers are looking for anyone in the area who witnessed the incident, or has any relevant information, to please get in touch via the following methods, quoting reference 36/63355/26:
